App Terms
Last updated: January 10, 2026
1. Introduction
These App Terms ("Terms") govern your use of any mobile application published by Codexters ("we", "us", or "our"), including but not limited to Streak Assist and any future applications we release. By downloading, installing, or using any of our applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
These Terms apply to all Codexters applications collectively. Individual apps may display a summary of these Terms in-app; the full version hosted on this page is the authoritative text.
2. Nature of Our Applications
Our applications are productivity and helper tools designed to assist you with common workflows on third-party platforms. They are not bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated scripts that bypass security measures or interact with external servers without your knowledge.
Our apps may:
- Store information you provide locally in your account (e.g., usernames, friend lists).
- Help auto-fill standard web forms to save you time.
- Parse data from files you explicitly choose to upload for import purposes.
Our apps do not:
- Guarantee any specific outcome on third-party platforms.
- Access private APIs or perform automated submissions on your behalf.
- Bypass security challenges (e.g., CAPTCHA) — you must complete those manually.
3. No Affiliation with Third-Party Platforms
Unless explicitly stated, Codexters and its applications are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any third-party platform referenced within our apps (such as Snap Inc., Meta, Google, or others). All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of their respective owners.
Our applications operate independently and do not imply any partnership or endorsement by those platforms.
4. User Accounts & Data
Some of our applications require you to create an account. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. Information you provide — such as your email address, profile details, and app-specific data — is stored securely in your personal account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Your Responsibilities
When using our applications, you agree that:
- You will comply with the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and policies of any third-party platform you interact with.
- You will not misuse support channels, spam requests, or submit false or misleading information.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring your actions are lawful and compliant with applicable regulations in your jurisdiction.
- You use our applications at your own risk. We are not responsible for consequences that may arise on your third-party platform accounts, including but not limited to account suspension, bans, or loss of data.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use our applications for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our applications (except as permitted by applicable open-source licenses).
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our applications or servers.
- Use automated means (bots, scripts) to interact with our services in a way that imposes unreasonable load.
7. Intellectual Property
Our applications, including their code, design, branding, and content, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Some of our applications are released under open-source licenses (e.g., MIT License); the applicable license governs code reuse but does not extend to the Codexters brand, name, or logo.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Codexters and its developers, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, accounts, or access to third-party platforms.
- Suspension or termination of third-party accounts.
- Any decisions made by third-party platforms regarding your account or support requests.
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our applications shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our applications are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that our applications will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected. Features may change or be removed at any time.
10. Third-Party Links & Services
Our applications may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Codexters. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
11. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to the privacy notice available within each application for details on what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. In summary:
- We store information you explicitly provide (e.g., email, profile data).
- We do not sell your personal data.
- Data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure.
- Certain app features may process files locally on your device without uploading the full file to our servers.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our applications after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
